So with the registering of gusfacegrillah.com I thought I should celebrate with an extra special post.
To the surprise of absolutely no one, two of my favourite things are beer and bacon, so when I came across a recipe for beer candied bacon I knew I absolutely had to make it.

See you in hell, candy boys
To make this all you need is brown sugar, beer and bacon.
If you can make your own bacon that would be ideal, but if you insist upon buying it from the shop then streaky bacon works best.
For the beer you’ll want a stout – I used Bootleg brewery’s Breakfast Stout, because bacon is a breakfast food.
Put in to the oven at 200c for around 10 minutes then apply the glaze and return to the oven – I repeated this process 4 times.
The hardest part is then letting it cool for an hour before serving. If you can wait that long without trying some, I’m impressed.
Now, without further adieu, here is some sweet close up bacon porn for y’all
Jealous!!!
Thanks for sharing the link to the recipe!!
It’s super easy to make
Yeah but u made ur own bacon!! Haha
true, but I did a test batch with some store bought bacon yesterday and it was still tasty!
I thought I was the only one who loved beer and bacon.
